Profit and cash are different questions

A profitable month can still end short. Timing is what creates pressure, and timing is exactly what a cash view makes visible.

The thirteen-week view

List expected inflows by week, then fixed obligations, then variable spend. The point is not precision; it is seeing the tight week before you arrive in it.

Decide the response in advance

Name the level at which you slow discretionary spend, the level at which you accelerate collections, and the level at which you seek outside capital. Deciding early prevents expensive decisions made late.
